Awards: At Butterfield, we hand out heat winner tickets that can be exchanged for a duck at concessions during the swim meet. We also have ribbons for 1-8th place in all individual events & relays that are distributed the next week.
Where do you pickup ribbons/t-shirts/medals?
- Town of Castle Rock families can find them in your family folder at Butterfield Pool.
- Visiting teams can pick up their ribbons at the next weekend's meet.
You can see a full list below of events, but your swimmer may choose to swim an Individual Medley, Freestyle, Butterfly, Long Freestyle, Backstroke, Breaststroke, and/or participate in 2 relays.
Swim meet events:
- If your swimmer is 10 & Under, they will swim 25s even in the relays unless they choose to do a 100 IM, 50 Freestyle, or 100 Freestyle.
- If your swimmer is 11-18, they will swim 50s even in the relays unless they choose to do a 200 IM, 100 Freestyle, or 200 Freestyle.
- 11-12 swimmers have the 100 IM option unless they choose to swim up
Order of Events (10&U/11-18):
- Medley Relay (100/200)
- Free Relay (100/200)
- Backstroke (25/50)
- Breaststroke (25/50)
- Sprint Free (25/50)
- Freestyle (50/100)
- Butterfly (25/50)
- IM (100/200)*
- 10&U and 11-12 both swim 100s; 13-18 swim 200 IM
- Distance Free (100/200)
